Pride of India Awards 2025 Honors Ascend for Redefining Cross-Border Expansion

On December 20, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Ahmedabad, the Pride of India Awards 2025 – Season 4 convened a room shaped by ambition and experience.  The gathering carried a quieter purpose. Beyond celebration, it invited reflection. Founders, professionals, and leaders paused to consider what sustains success once the noise fades.

For Ascend HSI, the moment carried quite significance. The recognition was not about applause. It was about alignment. The work has remained consistent, helping Indian founders and CEOs expand into the United States with legal clarity and strategic intent. This approach provides direct control over decisions that shape their immigration journeys.

Organized by Insights Success, the Pride of Bharat Awards focus on work that compounds over time rather than trends that peak quickly. The presence of actor and former parliamentarian Jaya Prada lent stature and grace to the evening, setting the tone for conversations that unfolded with depth and intent.

Ascend HSI participated as both a recipient and a Co-Sponsor. This emphasized its belief in platforms that reward thoughtful leadership and responsible business-building within India’s evolving ecosystem.

The Problem Worth Solving in Cross-Border Expansion

Cross-border expansion is often described as complex, and it is. But complexity is not the same as confusion.

In the U.S. immigration landscape, confusion has become a business model. Layers of intermediaries, opaque pricing, and exaggerated promises have normalized the idea that founders must pay heavily to move globally. Ascend HSI was recognized for consistently advocating clarity in US immigration services and challenging this assumption.

Our approach is straightforward: eliminate unnecessary middlemen, give founders direct access to licensed immigration lawyers, and replace guesswork with legal strategy. This approach reflects how thoughtful US immigration services should operate. The acknowledgment at the Pride of Bharat Awards was, in effect, recognition of this discipline.

Leadership That Compounds

The evening also highlighted individuals whose work has shaped Ascend’s trajectory in tangible ways.

Lestine Grace Ramakrishnan received the Emerging Leader in Global Strategy, Business Growth & Expansion Award for her role in translating intent into execution. She aligns teams, markets, and timelines so that global growth remains deliberate rather than decorative.

Vasanthan Ramakrishnan was honored with the Excellence in Immigration Advisory and Indian Leadership Award. The recognition reflected a guiding philosophy that has defined Ascend from its early days,: immigration is a legal process first, and a commercial service only second.

Reflecting on the recognition, he noted, “Awards like this are meaningful not because they single out an individual, but because they acknowledge the collective effort behind building something responsibly. For us, it’s a reminder to stay grounded in the work and focused on doing it the right way.”

The Ascend HSI team, collectively awarded the Immigration Advisory and Services Award, represented the work that rarely draws attention. Process design, streamlined onboarding, and a legal infrastructure built for high-stakes cases, where precision matters.

Making Complexity Approachable in US Immigration Services

In conversations around U.S. immigration, whether among founders, advisors, or legal professionals, a recurring truth emerges that outcomes are rarely determined by how much one spends. They are often determined by where accountability lies.

Across the industry, immigration services are sold at premium prices. Yet the legal drafting and responsibility rest with U.S. law firms. Intermediaries add cost. They add delay. They add little strategic value.

Ascend has consistently advocated a more direct and disciplined approach to US immigration services. Our model emphasizes working closely with lawyers who prepare and file EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, EB-1C, L-1A, L-1B and H-1B petitions, bringing coherence, transparency, and legal ownership to decisions that are otherwise fragmented. It is precisely this rigor and thoughtfulness that contributed to the recognition at the Pride of India Awards 2025.

Rethinking U.S. Expansion

Another insight that frequently surfaces in discussions on global growth is that expanding into the U.S. does not always require disproportionate capital. This challenges common assumptions about market entry costs.

For Indian companies that have been operational for even a few years, the L1A and L1B visas represent a structured pathway into the U.S. market. This pathway is often underutilized. With the right organizational setup and eligible managerial or specialized talent, expansion can be planned thoughtfully rather than pursued reactively.

This emphasis on eligibility before aspiration reflects how Ascend approaches cross-border expansion. Ascend makes a complex system more understandable, predictable, and actionable through reliable US immigration services. It is this clarity and approachability in cross-border expansion that contributed to the firm’s recognition at the Pride of India Awards 2025.

Visibility with Intent

Expansion, as Ascend sees it, extends beyond approvals.

Alongside legal strategy, the firm supports founders in building credible visibility within the U.S. market through access to established American media platforms. These narratives, about leadership, companies, and milestones, strengthen immigration profiles. They shape perception in markets where credibility often precedes opportunity. The Pride of India Awards 2025 acknowledged Ascend’s commitment to this holistic approach to business and cross-border expansion.

Behind the Scenes: Leadership and Representation

Amid the many interactions that define events of this scale, Amritha G, Event Coordinator, and Bhimesh Singh, Immigration Lawyer at Ascend HSI, attended the ceremony representing Ascend. Both had the opportunity to engage closely with fellow professionals and exchange perspectives. They also shared Ascend’s broader goal of making U.S. immigration and cross-border expansion more approachable, transparent, and grounded in sound legal strategy.

Recognition, Then the Work

Awards are markers, not destinations. The Pride of India Awards 2025 signal trust from an ecosystem that values clarity over noise and structure over shortcuts. For Ascend, it reinforces a responsibility to continue simplifying what has been made unnecessarily complex. It also means helping founders expand globally with fewer detours and better decisions.

As the evening in Ahmedabad drew to a close, the conversations continued. That, perhaps, was the point.
